A visit to my mom’s Hialeah home and neighborhood always stirs up a thousand memories. 🌴✨
Lunch near her home felt like stepping back into her world, Celia Cruz smiling on a rocker, Cuban quotes and laughter all around.
As we left, a giant cafetera caught our eye, and suddenly we were back in her kitchen, smelling the rich aroma of the cafecito she lovingly made for us.
Even after all these years, she’s everywhere… and somehow, right beside me. 💛☕️🇨🇺

taking time to reflect on how sweet life truly is 🌿 these little moments captured in time with people whom i love & adore. it’s easy to get caught up in things or situations that don’t go your way, leaving you feeling uneasy or disappointed. But if there’s one thing i’ve learned these past couple weeks it’s to try & have no expectation whatsoever. What’s meant to be, will be & there’s not much we can do about it. However, we can control our reactions & how we move forward. We’re not perfect, & we are going to make mistakes along the way, & that’s okay! Be okay with not being okay. The good days will come back around, i promise 🫶🏽 & the people who are meant to experience those good days with you will be there no matter what. 🌈
