Like so many Blythe doll collectors I daydreamed about the idea of a Kenner for a long long time and I’m very pleased to introduce you to my beautiful girl! She’s been here for a little while now but has been waiting very patiently! Everyone who has ever told me about that Kenner glow, and the adorable little pip of her eye mechanism click was absolutely correct! She is so charming! she is wearing a dress by my dear friend Susan, of Sunny biscuits which seemed especially appropriate because I admire so many of her stock and Kenner dolls! For me, making diorama sets for my doll photography or photo challenge themes like this one I made in 2023 for #dollmovienight that was also hosted by @muriels_obsession

These photos of Georgia are from the movie Mamma Mia & Georgia is playing the main character Sophie. The diorama was made to look as similar as I could to Sophie’s room and balcony. I haven’t used this diorama since and it just sits on a cupboard collecting dust.

She’s wearing a sweet beret by caramelody and a dress I made (that I’m keeping for myself) using the softest vintage cotton. Sewing is therapy for me. It slows my mind and brings me a real sense of accomplishment and peace ☺️
