Every great record is a team effort and some of its most powerful moments come from voices you don’t always see

Behind many of Afrobeats’ biggest songs are talented women whose harmonies, backing vocals and arrangements add emotion, texture and depth to the music we love

This is a celebration of the women behind the voices the ones shaping the sound of a generation It’s time they got their flowers 🌸

We first connected with Debbie while working on the live performances and promo for Stormzy’s ‘This Is What I Mean project’. It was so great to collaborate again in the studio today. Thanks @madaboutthevoice for recommending and reconnecting us.
