Meine beste Langdistanz dieses Jahr, das gesamte Rennen fühlte sich gut an, selbst wenn ich gemerkt habe, dass ich definitiv noch an meinen Wenden üben muss.

Junior Sprint World Championship Silver Medal! 🥈🥹✨

I still can’t quite believe it ,2nd place at the World Championships! 🥈🔥 All the hard work, dedication, and countless hours of training have paid off, and I couldn’t be more grateful and overwhelmed by this result.

A huge thank you to everyone who has supported me along the way and made this journey possible! ❤️

Vom 16 bis 24 September gibg es für @antonbirkicht und @030.sup.froh nach Agios Nikolaos auf Keeta. Beide gingen für das deutsche Team an den Start und stellten sich einen starken Teilnehmerfeld

🇬🇷🏄‍♂️ My first European Championship – and what a place to do it!

For the first time, I competed at the Paddle Europe Championships, here in beautiful Agios Nikolaos, Crete. 🇬🇷🌊

The conditions in flatwater were not easy at all. Especially during the Sprint and the 14 km Long Distance, the wind and waves made the races pretty challenging.

I’m really happy with my results:

🏄‍♂️ 8th place Sprint– made it to the final
🏄‍♂️ 16th place Technical Race
🏄‍♂️ 11th place Long Distance over 14 km

The Technical Race unfortunately didn’t go as planned. Even though I had a good time, finishing 6th in my heat wasn’t enough to make it to the semifinal. That’s racing – sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn’t. 💪

Overall, there were great and fair races and the whole event was super well organized. It’s really cool to race here with so many strong paddlers from all over Europe. 🔥

Tomorrow is a rest day ☀️😎 and then on Tuesday and Wednesday it’s straight back to racing. I’ll be competing in the World Cup Sprint and Technical Race.

I’m definitely enjoying my time here in Greece! 🇬🇷❤️
