Congrats to the club for their @grassroots365 ranking. The boys hard work is paying off and they showed out this past weekend collectively as a group. Also a big congrats to our own @jagger_mcewen being named to the all tourney team in @grassroots365 The Championship tourney!

That’s the wrap for 2022-2023 season for @elite.basketballclub boys came down to @grassroots365 Anaheim and showed out. Made semis and lost to eventual champs but they handled themselves as winners should, with their head held high and hearts on their sleeves. I couldn’t be more proud and excited for their futures. We are building something so special and people are seeing that playing basketball the right way and with the right attitude matters. We don’t take short cuts and reclassify kids and bring on ringers, just suit up and battle every game. We know we have more work to do. This is just the beginning 💯 thank you everyone/families that contributed to the season and this weekend. Especially my board members and assistant coach @scampos2121 shout out to 📷 @youthfulsports 🙏🏻#ebcfamily

Some photos from this past weekend. Celebrated little Noah’s 5th birthday at Chuck E. Cheese with the best grandparents @lindaleamcc @jamesmcc63 and had the entire @elite.basketballclub over to serenade him with happy birthdays. @elite.basketballclub went on to win their first tournament of the year and qualify for state tournament doing it with teamwork, grit and humility. Thanks to all those that contributed to making it a great thanksgiving and birthday celebration for our little boy. ❤️💯

The grind was real this season. 5 full months of hoop, practicing 3 days a week for 2 hours and over 12 tournaments including a trip to TX. These kids are unbelievable and gave it everything they had and the results were in their favor. There will be moments in their life that it won’t be in their favor but their winners not because of the trophies and medals, their winners because of their work ethic and actions. If they remember that, they won’t ever go astray. For all those out there chasing a dream, don’t let anyone tell you you can’t do something. Keep the faith and put in the work. It’ll be back to work for these boys in no time. Thanks @elite.basketballclub for bringing the family together and all of the parents, assistant coaches and managers that keep the ship afloat behind the scenes. We are eternally grateful. Thanks to my family and best friend @lo_wang14 for letting me participate in a lifelong obsession 🙏🏻 #statechamps #ontothenextone
