One of the coolest things about Blue Zones Week was teaming up with the fabulous @superbloom.world crew to bring a little more color (and a lot more fun!) to Palm Springs!

Unlike most events that come and go, this one is sticking around! Years from now, we’ll still have this beautiful mural reminding us of what happens when creative people get together and make some magic.

I absolutely love seeing locals doing their thing! And if making our city happier, more colorful, and a little more playful isn’t well-being, I don’t know what is! 🌼

Big love to the @iamcpramirez @yayyuzz ! Now I just need to find an excuse to paint more walls! 🎨😎

Oh, Palm Springs. 🌼🌴🧡

These flowers are for you.

Thank you for giving our seeds a place to grow in the desert. Nearly eight years of color, creativity, and becoming.

And somehow, it feels like we’re only just beginning to bloom.

This isn’t goodbye. Just see you later ✌️

Now, it’s time to get back to work in the city where it all began. New York City. 🗽❤️🚕

There’s so much more to bloom. 🌸😘🎨

A little spontaneous fun! 🌼 Went out to support the wonderful work of Superbloom and this collaboration with Blue Zones Project Palm Springs for Desert Superbloom. We ended up adding a few brushstrokes of our own!

🌸 Super Bloom: Palm Springs Is Blooming Together! 🌼

Art, community, and connection came together at Super Bloom in Palm Springs! 💜🧡💛
@superbloom.world @bzppalmsprings @palmspringsparksandrec @cityofps @cafelajefa @heypopsofficial

Through three beautiful floral murals in purple, orange, and yellow, children, adults, and community members joined hands to create something meaningful—leaving their handprints as a lasting symbol of unity, belonging, and a shared vision for a brighter future.

Organized with the participation of Blue Zones Project, this inspiring initiative celebrates the power of community and the importance of creating spaces that bring people together and support a healthier, happier way of life.

Every handprint tells a story. Every flower represents growth. And together, we are leaving a beautiful legacy for Palm Springs to cherish for years to come. 🌿✨

Because when a community comes together, beautiful things bloom!

A perfect day in Palm Springs? 🌴☀️

Catching the colors of the sunrise, noticing the birds fly above you, a morning walk through Ruth Hardy Park, puppy watching, beautiful community murals by @superbloom.world, and making new friends along the way. 🌼🐾🎨

I was able to get my 81-year-old mom out to enjoy the festivities, and watching her thrive and make a new friend while I made a few of my own truly filled my cup. 🥹💛

Different generations, new connections, art, and a community coming together. A beautiful reminder that living well is about showing up, being present, and making space for connection.

Thank you @bzppalmsprings, @cityofps @palmspringsparksandrec for creating such meaningful opportunities to bring our community together.. And thanks to @iamcpramirez @yayyuzz for leading this community project, @cafelajefa for the yummy fuel, and @alexfoxx13 @brandeenicoleeashes for capturing the memories! 🌴✨

Let the festivities of Blue Zones Week continue! 💙🩵

the ART issue
@palmspringschamber
Fall 2026

“Now SUPERBLOOM is expanding coast to coast with a Manhattan presence while remaining firmly rooted in Palm Springs. Locally, the artists are partnering with @bzppalmsprings and @palmspringsparksandrec on three large-scale wildflower murals in the heart of downtown. It’s an apt evolution for two artists inspired by the desert itself: different colors, different stories, flourishing together.”
