Home was recorded at Wally’s Hyde Out (Hyde Street Studios) with producer Chris McGrew. The title track, “Home”, was the last to be written, added just before release. It tells the story of Scharff’s experience during the lockdown – being really productive and trying to stay positive, but feeling the repetitiveness of each day, the loneliness, and trying to hang on until we can all be together again. On this episode of the podcast, Anson and Chris were joined by multi-instrumentalist and lead singer of the Super Fantastics, Daniel Scharff. The San Francisco based Indie Pop band has made good use pandemic times to develop their act both outdoors at golden gate park, and in the studio where they have been sharpening their debut album Home set to release in March of this year. It was a really lovely conversation about all of the things that music is to them from an emotional standpoint..representing our current moods to jogging memories, music is therapy for the soul. They shared some of our listening habits, some songs that we listen to to feel a particular way, and how we want to share positive vibes through good music..literally. Link in bio

What song do you put one when you want to get pumped up? What do you like to listen to when you are feeling down? Which genre do you play when you are trying to focus? These are some of the things that @mrbeaty @youngmanoldsoles had the pleasure of chatting about with the lead singer of @superfantasticsband Daniel. Tune in for a great chat about music, moods, and more! Link in bio 👆🏽
