After over a year passing since our first meeting, I’m very happy and proud to see this project with Superficial and Hunarkar come to fruition 💙 A painting of mine titled, ‘Orphic Tendency’ (2023) turned into hand-made rugs by the brilliant artisans at Hunarkar. A limited edition series of 20 titled, ‘Orphic Tendencies’. The object-hood of my pictures is something I’ve questioned through the way they’re hung and they’re rounded edges and the rugs feel like an extension of this. A thing that can be touched, walked on and lived with instead of ominously staring back at you from the wall. A big thank you to Mariana and Eleanor for the belief in the work and to Aniella for the wonderful shots.
