I’m an old soul who loves to take notes pen to paper. My paper calendar comes first then I put everything in my digital calendar. Sticky notes, note pads, journals—I have the Costco bulk collection🤪
When a recent client came in using @remarkable I was completely mesmerized. I’ve seen the functions an iPad has and other tablets, but none have had the feel like pen on paper.
I narrowed down the selection between remarkable (pencil to paper feel) and @supernote_official @supernote_japan
I chose Supernote Manta because I love gel pen feel on paper. Supernote also has more executive features including synching Google/Gmail/docs, Word, Dropbox and many others. Not subscription based either. No monthly membership to pay—just use WiFi. not another tablet full of apps and distractions.
Best part-Its Japanese made and designed 🇯🇵

If you’re like me and can’t part from your sticky notes and journals but also know you need to declutter your note taking, then I highly recommend getting Supernote Manta.
It’s barely been 24 hours but I’ve already divorced my laptop, journals, sticky notes, and calendar book.🤫 I mean, I might have some special visits with my sticky notes when my Supernote isn’t around, but I’ve called it quits on all the others 😁

For the best e-ink drawing experience overall, I always go back to the @supernote_official A6X2 (for portability) and a great size for drawing at night while lying down. I’ve tried all the e-ink devices for sketching and always come back to the Supernote and with a little light I clip onto my folio, I can easily draw in the dark (kind of helps me sleep actually). If you are looking for a larger size, I always recommend the larger version (A5X2 Manta).

I love some of the updates in Atelier (Supernote dedicated e-ink drawing application), especially some of the opacity/layer features, but still prefer drawing in the notebook because I can keep a “sketchbook” note rather than having multiple files. Also found myself creating my own folio, and bought a ceramic nib refill and a Pilot G2 kit on Etsy (can’t wait for that to get here) Although I will always love the @lamy all star for quick button action.

Anyways, hope you all are well! Create more than you consume 🙌⚡️🤘 let me know what you think of the sketches, and if you have a favorite. Already finalizing/coloring one now. Lots of fun ahead.
