NYC, I love you. Thank you for the ups and downs. The people. The burritos. And all the experiences that made my life here so rich. I came here with nothing and am leaving with everything. All I can say is thank you!

As for what’s next, I gotta see about a girl 😅

See you in Boston 🫶

I remember the exact moment my approach to skiing changed.

Back before I started strength training specifically for the mountain, I had a strict two-day limit. I’d ski Saturday, but by Sunday afternoon, my legs were absolutely cooked. Monday was a write-off.

Then came my first 3-day ski trip. I knew I was in trouble, so I packed a foam roller. That third morning, rolling out my quads was an agonizing wake-up call—I couldn’t believe how tight and beat up I was.

But here’s the thing: Mother Nature doesn’t care if your legs are sore. As I got more into skiing, storms would roll in, consecutive days of powder presented themselves, and I didn’t want to be stuck in the lodge nursing dead quads.

I realized that just skiing more wasn’t enough. I needed strength training during the season to support my riding volume.

But in-season training is tricky. You need to maintain strength without burning out so you’re fresh for the weekend.

Swipe through this carousel for my blueprint on in-season training. We’re talking about: 👉 Adjusting volume (maintenance vs. gains) 👉 The importance of eccentric tempo for absorbing impact 👉 Essential lateral stability and recovery protocols 👉 The two mobility moves non-negotiable for skiers (Hello, couch stretch!)

These are the exact principles and movements covered in my online and in-studio program, Shred Ready.

If you want to be the skier who is still charging for last chair on day 3 when a storm cycle hits, you need a plan.

Starting your fitness journey doesn’t have to be complicated 👏🏻

These are the 4 things I require from my clients:

1️⃣ A food scale (accuracy matters)
2️⃣ Superset app (where everything lives)
3️⃣ A bodyweight scale (progress tracking)
4️⃣ Your full commitment (most important)

I handle the workouts, nutrition, and check-ins.
You just have to show up and execute - remember you get out what you put in! ⚡️

New year, new you? Not without a plan!

INTRO TO STRENGTH is a 6 week program that will help you get started and stay consistent with your 2026 fitness goals!

I created this to make strength training simple, accessible, and less intimidating. This program is perfect for beginner lifters or those getting back into it after some time off.

As a strength coach, I’ve seen firsthand how intimidating strength training can seem, but also how quickly confidence grows when you have the right structure and a plan that meets you where you are.

You get 3 full body workouts each week - and each exercise comes with a demo video and my detailed coaching notes so you know exactly how every movement should look and feel.

Over 6 weeks you will master all of the essential movement patterns, build strength safely and progressively, and learn to consistently follow a structured plan.

Dripping with flavor at @vato.nyc 📍

Despite the mess, the breakfast burrito was SO good. The homemade tortillas and smokey brisket were delicious 🤤

But my favorite part might’ve been the cinnamon roll I spotted on the way out. I think I’ll have to come back to try some of their other pastries.

Where should I run to next?

Over the summer I decided to get it together and focus on getting my strength and endurance back to where I actually want it. As a personal trainer, it's easy adjust to a slightly less intense but still effective exercise, so decided to train myself & stick to my plan. There are exercises that avoid like the plague, but I've been slowly adding some of them back in.

Getting closer to where I want to be, but still a lot of room to grow. My main goal these past 5 months was to get through Bagani without breathing heavily at the end. Not pictured are the hours of walking on the treadmill while watching the Clone Wars.

Lower body session. Put in the reps, see the results.

Save and try for later. Reps remove doubt.
