Whangarei band Otium are playing Whammy tonight so we took the chance to ask Austyn how music venues are a third space for him, his band and their community

“Venues like Whammy are a third
space for us as it allows us to
explore whanaungatanga at volume.
We like to play loud; with honesty
and conviction, for both our
supporters and anyone else who
relies on venues like Whammy for
their local musical experiences!”

- Austyn | Otium

Catch Otium, RVMES, Supersonic play live at Whammy Public Bar tonight!
