The beauty of these walks is youbget to meet wonderful people, trying new things and trying similar items at different places to understand different styles of preparations. No judgement. One figures out what works best for them.

Inside the Incredible #Anupama Fanverse.

Had written this for Mint around this time last year, with @riarchhobi helping with the edits. (Here's hoping we get to work together again some day and on many more stories).

Link here: https://www.livemint.com/news/india/inside-the-incredible-anupama-fanverse-11659026135265.html Wrote about the Anupama empire around this time last year. A TV serial adapted from Bangla and reimagined in six languages. It topped ratings and memeverse and perhaps rewrote the Indian Television playbook. SWIPE TO READ

Fantastic chat + thindi hopping with this gang on Sunday :) we roamed the lanes of Chamrajpet.

Aralimara Pani Puri, masal Puri.

SLV chats - Chikmagalur churmuri, tikki Puri.

Mohan idli dosa aka blue building - idli, dosE, shavige bath, chitranna, pudi masale and a great, perfectly gooden onion dosE

Bangarpet bhel corner. Superb multi flavour Pani Puri. Bangarpet Pani is probably unique here. Haven't seen it anywhere else in the country. The Pani is deceptively transparent until the heat and garlic hit you!
We also had floating Pani Puri, cutlet masala, masal Puri, chow chow masala, nippat smash masala.

Gururaj khara center (thanks to area boy Avinash for the recco!). Bajji, onion bondas, and the uncle aunty were so kind! They saw we were waiting so they gave some mixture to munch while we were waiting 😭❤️❤️❤️

Fantastic evening, great food and great group of people. Haven't tagged many as Instagram keeps hanging. Sigh.
