I am literally so exited to share this, finally! The last two months I’ve been organizing this show with Paris Jewell and so many talented artists in Gainesville to put together this exhibition of art and music at How Bazar on Sunday April 10th from 7-11pm.

In January I started creating art to find what personal symbols of mine were guiding my inspiration and wanted to share this process with as many other artists as possible. And every part of this process went seriously so smoothly and I’m so so thankful for every talented artist that wanted to be a part of this show, everyone who added such amazing input and insight. It amazed me so much how much everyone was so immersed into this idea and how every conversation lead to a new one, lead to more people adding their own perspectives and collaborating. We’re now the Artithesis Collective. And we’ll use this momentum to keep bringing together artists and growing together.

This exhibition is a call for artists to expand their ideas of what symbolism means to them and their art and a call for guests to navigate their own personal symbols. Symbols are a guiding light, a reminder of significant events, a way to convey deep feelings, and provide imagery for abstract concepts. 🪞🪞🪞

So this Sunday, April 10th 7-11pm at How Bazar, come see visual art, live music, poetry, temporary tattoo, screen printing, and live painting! Entry is free but donations are very appreciated !!
