Mystic Creatures! 🌧️💔☀️💜 Warum liegt hier eigentlich Stroh? 🌾 A little story time is necessary (~chronological order across the slides). That Saturday evening truly felt like a tipping point: while opening with Sonic Empire (yet another anthem from the soundtrack of my youth), the clouds cleared, and the sun broke through and hit the floor (oh yes, the mud stayed). I could hardly believe it. Only 25 minutes before, we were hesitating whether to even walk across the bridge to the island (see slide 2) because it was so windy and shaky, while wondering “am I even playing today?”. And suddenly people started crawling out of their little shelters again, so ready to dance after a full day of rain - and somehow we even ended up dancing into some sunset vibes. 🤝 It kinda felt like a second opening of the festival - there was a sense of release among all of us. Moments like these also make me realize what a privilege it is to come together like this; to dance, celebrate and simply exist together in an open and democratic society. Especially on a weekend when the election results have been a clear reminder that this openness cannot be taken for granted - and that not everyone in our society feels equally free, safe or welcome. And while political divisions are becoming harder to ignore, there’s another crisis increasingly making its way onto the dancefloor: Festivals are having to deal with the very real consequences of a changing climate - from extreme heat to storms and floods. Some slots had to be cancelled, and my heart goes out to all artists who never got to play this weekend. I felt incredibly lucky to still be part of it. A big shoutout to the @mystic.creatures_ crew for having me & making it happen despite the chaos - and for bringing in an impressive amount of hay bales to keep us all soooomewhat upright. 😂🌾 Thank you to everyone who came, danced, slipped, survived the mud and shared that moment with me. 🫶 Somehow, I felt like this moment of togetherness was worth keeping - and sharing after all. It’s now online! HAPPY END OF FESTIVAL SEASON 2026! 😮‍💨🫰🏽

And so it begins. Kreuzberg, a backyard, Sundays. We were heating the sauna and cooling our plunge for the first time. The first session! Bringing THE FICE to life: heat, cold and good people coming together in one place. Our pop-up is growing from here while the permanent space is in the making. #Backyardsession #tentsauna #coldplunge #contrasttherapy #saunaberlin
