Your DNA has shoelaces. 👟🧬

Every lace has a little plastic tip on the end. Lose it and the lace frays.

Your chromosomes have the same thing. They’re called telomeres, protective caps on the ends of your DNA.

Every time a cell divides, the tip wears down a little. When it’s gone, the cell stops dividing. It retires or self-destructs. Stack up enough of those worn-out cells and that’s a big part of what ageing actually is.

Here’s the part people miss: two runners can wear the same shoes and shred their laces at totally different speeds.

Regular training, solid sleep, good food and managing stress are linked with longer telomeres. Chronic stress, smoking and junk sleep are linked with shorter ones. Associations, not proof, but the pattern keeps showing up.

You can’t stop your laces wearing.
You can choose how hard you drag them through the gravel.

Save this for the next time someone asks what a telomere is. Send it to the mate who runs on 4 hours of sleep and energy drinks.

$FLAVOUR ISN’T A FORMULA. I’ve been formulating in this country since 2005, and the Australian supplement shelf has gone soft. Walk into any store right now. What’s the headline? Not the dose. Not the delivery system. Not whether a single milligram reaches your bloodstream. It’s “NEW Musk Stick flavour.” “Limited edition Golden Gaytime.” “Fairy Bread pre-workout.” Fairy. Bread. We’ve turned human performance into a lolly aisle. Brands are spending more on flavour houses than on formulators. The R&D budget goes on making it taste like a milkshake. The tub gets a dessert name and a cartoon, and nobody asks the only question that matters: Does it actually get in? Bioavailability is the whole game. You can swallow 1000mg of something and absorb a fraction of it. Your gut breaks it down, your liver chews through it on first pass, and the rest goes straight down the toilet. Compounds like curcumin, CoQ10, resveratrol and glutathione are notoriously poor when taken orally in standard form. So that “clinical dose” on the label is often a clinical dose of nothing. You’re not supplementing. You’re making expensive urine that tastes like Redskins.#spawnnutra And that’s exactly why most brands won’t touch it. It’s easier to sell you a new flavour every quarter than to fix the delivery problem underneath. Flavour drops are a marketing calendar. Bioavailability is a science problem. Australia picked the calendar. Here’s what pisses me off most: Aussies are some of the most switched-on, hard-training people on the planet. We deserve better than being treated like kids in a servo picking a Slurpee. So here’s my challenge. Next time you pick up a tub, flip it over. Ignore the flavour. Ask three questions: 1. What’s the actual dose of each active? 2. What form is it in? 3. How does it get past my gut? If the label can’t answer those, the flavour doesn’t matter. You’re buying a dessert. I’ll take results over Redskins every day of the week. Greg “Mad Scientist 5150” Nikolettos#spawnnutra #liposomal #liposomalsupplements #bioavailability$
