I couldn't be here without you all and I'm so incredibly gutted that I didn't get the results that we've all been working for. Honestly, deep down I know that I am capable of better. I am not really sure why I couldn't get all the pieces to align again after our P10 in Assen, but I'm going to take some time to reflect on it and see what I can put together for next year.

Not where we need to be but after the last few rounds this is a real shot in the arm

Bummer to have dropped my girl in race 2 especially since we were in a position to possibly back up our Saturday result but that’s racing

Really really need to work on getting my tempo up sooner and making fewer mistakes early

To be honest, not the greatest weekend at VIRginia International Raceway. I learned a lot, though, about not overpushing on the start. On Friday I did pretty good and was p8 in fp1 which I was pretty happy about because I have never been there.
In qualifying 1, I ended up in p7 and had a good pace and was able to drop 2 seconds. In qualifying 2, I ended up in p10, which I was not really happy about. Made a few changes before q2, and they ended up not helping. Made some suspension changes before race 1 and were able to get p8. I was not super pleased with it, but, I was able to drop my time.
In warm-up, I was able to drop my time by over a second and felt super good and felt like I was meshing with the track. In race 2, I was starting in p10 on the grid and was able to get to p7 by the first corner. I ended up making a mistake trying to pass someone and went wide, losing 3 positions. I managed to get back 2 positions from my mistake in turn one and got p9. Overall, I wasn't happy with how the weekend went, but I'm glad to put it behind and looking forward to race at COTA next in September!

Race 2: P8!!!
All the way from P22 🤯 We had another crazy race yesterday with a red flag coming out after like 4 laps. We went from P22 to P15 in those couple of laps though and started from P15 on the restart. On the restart the race was only 5 laps so I was a bit nervous on how that was going to go, but I kept my head down and managed to stay out of trouble. Crossing the line in P9 but after a DQ in the class I officially scored a P8! For only two race weekends on the 660, at race tracks that I have never been to, I can't complain about that race result at all!

Thank you to everyone on the team for all of their hard work, the weather was brutal but we managed to get through the weekend with both bikes running flawlessly! Shout out to everyone, Gio, Josh, Steve, Cass, Jill, Mike, George, Rob, Colin, Luke, Philly, and Rachel, y'all are the only way that this race weekend could go this smoothly, THANK YOU!!! Excited to see what the future holds!
