Mike here - Day 3 kicked off with more good eating then we headed for a new road. 209 (North Carolina Scenic Byway) is a fun and pretty challenging road from Maggie Valley to Hot Springs. We rode it to the end, then turned around and came back the same way. If you like twisties and switchbacks, definitely one to check out. Right before we got on it, Franks bike started missing. We found a spot to pull over and after some quick looking, found some corrosion on one of his pulse generator wires at the connection. Cleaned it up and back in business. These were brand new connections, and we had a few hours of rain the night before. Y’all remember to put some dielectric grease on your connections. #pedroandbettysbigrevival #hondachopper #gorideyourbike #chopper

♠️ A C E S H I G H 2 0 2 6 ♠️ We came, we saw, we got inked, we laughed, and we rode. Couldn’t have asked for better weather smack dab in the middle of July. Started the day with a gorgeous sun ray kissed view of the Sierra at a cool 70 degrees. Saw so many friends, rad bikes, and the best Reno souvenir 🎲. Wrapped it all up with a glorious ride through the passes with my road doggie @isa._.belle 🤝 Thank you for a killer year two @aceshighchoppershow can’t wait to see what yall got in store for year three!!

Mike here - Got some more stuff moved over from the old shop. Been working at getting parts organized and stuff hung up. All the walls are either cinder block, brick or concrete - so it’s taking a bit longer but turning out pretty nice. Starting to look like “our” shop. Stoked! #pedroandbettysbigrevival #choppershop #choppers #motorcycles

Mike here - Might as well grab some shots of the sporty chop on the ground before loading it up. Can’t wait to finish it up and start ripping around on it. We got our tool carts loaded, another sporty engine, and a bunch of other stuff for this trip. Feels really great to be getting our stuff in the new space. #pedroandbettysbigrevival #choppers #newshop

Mike here - I made some new oil lines, gave them the same cover treatment as the plug wires, and got fresh oil back in the bike. My hope is that the oil lines coverings are going to flow well with the tank art/paint I plan to do. Right now, they look a bit out of place. I’ll know better once the tank is painted. We’ll see what happens. Stay tuned. #pedroandbettysbigrevival #sportychop #sportstersummer #twowheeltrash

Mike here - I have future plans for the ignition, but for now, a simple relocation tidy’s up things nicely and opens up the curvature of the frame behind the engine. Simplicity wins the day more than you might think. #pedroandbettysbigrevival #sportychop #details #chopper #sportstersummer
