❄️ Join us for the 17th Annual Phoestivus at the Arizona Center, @azcenterphx for TWO EXCITING nights this year. Friday December 11 & Friday December 18. With limited space available for the Phoestivus Hangover, during the Downtown Phoenix Farmers Market the following Saturday!

💙 This beloved and long standing community holiday event is back at this year with space for over 170 vendors, holiday treats, food trucks, holiday activations, live local music, Phreddie the Yeti, local brews, and most importantly, YOU!

❄️ Please submit your application today and give someone on the naughty list a reason to shape up before the holidays!

❄️ Event will run both Friday December 11th & 18th from 4 PM - 10 PM, and Saturday December 12th & 19th during the Downtown Phoenix Farmers Market from 8 AM - 1 PM (space is limited).

Happy National Dog Day from the Bureau of Land Management Arizona! 🐾

Arizona’s public lands offer endless opportunities for adventure, and our canine companions are often the happiest explorers of all. Whether it’s wandering through beautiful landscapes, discovering new scents along a trail, or just enjoying time outside with their humans, our pups make every outing better.

One memorable trail buddy is @supstuart, the adventure yorkie, who tackled Quartz Peak Trail in the Sierra Estrella Wilderness near Phoenix back in March 2023. The temperatures were cool, and the weather was much better for exploring with a pet. With his tiny paws and big spirit, Stu powered up the trail, taking in sweeping views and soaking up the beauty of Arizona.

Stu is usually well‑equipped for his outings, complete with booties and a leash, but at the summit he paused for a quick photo opp for his human adventure buddies. Stuart loves being outside, and those mountain vistas are always his happiest reward.

“Adventuring Arizona is our favorite,” his human said. “So many great places to explore and see the beauty that is Arizona. Stuart (pup) loves being out in the wild and especially those summit views!”

If you’re heading out with your dog, remember to:
➡️ Follow local leash requirements.
➡️ Bring plenty of water for you and your pup.
➡️ Pack out pet waste.
➡️ Keep wildlife and habitat safe by giving animals plenty of space.

Here’s to all the dogs who inspire us to get outside and enjoy the beauty of Arizona’s public lands! 🌵🐶
