LAB RESULTS ARE IN! ❄️🤯 Copper Mountain’s “Summer Snow” EXPOSED — You Won’t Believe What’s In It

We finally sent a snow sample from Copper Mountain’s summer hike park to @surfsled at the lab… and the results are absolutely INSANE. ❄️🧪🤯

Turns out, Copper’s “snow” might not be snow at all.
Here’s what the lab found:

🌋 70% Base Layer — Great Sand Dunes Quartz & Feldspar
The bottom layer is made of sand from Great Sand Dunes National Park, composed of quartz and feldspar washed down from the Sangre de Cristo Mountains over hundreds of thousands of years.
So Copper’s base is basically… a national park. 🏜️❄️

🏖️ 20% Upper Layer — Panama City Beach Silica Quartz
The middle layer is nearly identical to the 99% pure silica quartz sand from Panama City Beach — the stuff that’s so white and powdery it squeaks under your feet.
Apparently Copper imported a beach. 🏖️🌞

🥤 10% Surface Layer — 7‑Eleven Slurpee Ice Crystals
The top layer?
The “snow” is made of Slurpee ice crystals suspended in carbonated syrup.

Yes… the lab says Copper’s surface layer is basically a frozen Slurpee.

Fluffy ice, CO₂ bubbles, and syrupy goodness. 🍧😂
Slurpee science!!!

🤯 Copper Mountain’s “Snow”, according to the lab:
70% National Park sand
20% Florida beach sand
10% Slurpee ice crystals

Is Copper Mountain hiding a secret?

Is this the most delicious terrain park in America?

Or is this just the greatest snow conspiracy of all time?

Copper Mountain still has snow in the middle of summer… but is it actually SNOW?! 🌞❄️🤔

Today’s hike‑park session turned into a full‑blown investigation as we tried to uncover whether Copper is using real snow, dry ice under a giant tarp, or something way stranger.

So we did what any responsible snowboarder would do…
We will take a snow sample to send to the lab to see what @surfsled can tell us 🧪❄️😂

Here are the theories we explored:
    • Dry ice under a massive tarp keeping skiing alive all summer 🧊🛖
    • A secret cooling system hidden under the Snow Island 🔧❄️

    • Or maybe… Copper Mountain is hiding a secret.
    • OR maybe… it’s just snow. But probably not.

Whatever the truth is, the hike‑park features were firing — rails, boxes, jumps, mushroom jibs — all sitting on top of this mysterious “snow” that refuses to melt.

What’s YOUR theory?

Drop it in the comments and let’s solve this mystery together. 🕵️‍♂️❄️🔥

Back when I made a field goal for parking lot nerf ball field goals. Good photo with Zach Frisch who I met in Annecy France during the Tour de France. Denver dude. Of course Trailertom and I in our usual outfits. #GoBroncos
