At the Quiet Bloom Foundation, we believe that healing begins with safe conversations, and we're deeply grateful to those who help make those conversations possible.

A heartfelt thank you to Ms. @susankelechi for facilitating our July Quiet Bloom Circle Monthly Session. Your insightful session on "Dealing with Stigma and Discrimination as a Woman with Disability" created a space where our women felt seen, heard, and empowered to share their experiences.

Thank you for generously volunteering your time, expertise, and compassion. Your contribution has left a lasting impact on our community, and we're truly grateful for your support.

Together, we're creating spaces where women with disabilities can connect, heal, and bloom. 🌸

I was fortunate to be asked to create portraits of the brave women who hosted, performed, and walked in the @ahagored Collection and concert @jazzdotorg this past week. So many amazing women and dresses and always such a great inspiring event. Cardiovascular disease is the #1 killer of women and this event honors the work done to raise awareness of this silent killer.

Thanks to my team @pkfr and @soulbphotos and @fotocarenyc along with @flyingtv and all the celebs and performers for making it such a great night.

November 2018, i decided to partake in a marathon and to prepare for it i need to either stay awake till odd hours or wake very early to prepare. Certain persons stood out for me...one of which was @uniquesuzzy
.
.
A polio survivor practically gave me legs all through that training period. Asking about distance i covered..speed and whether i ate or rested well. And that is just who she is. Someone who inspires and pushes the rest of us to go and achieve our dreams.
.
.
Since we met she has worked as a data collector, she has transcribed text, and has never stopped working as an advocate for THE DETERMINED ONES. Able to speak the 3major languages in Nigeria. A rare mix of beauty and brains
.
.
Like she always say..we just want to be treated as everyother human. Allowed to get jobs, allowed to access public services and buildings especially giving them lifts and ramps that let's them in and to use restrooms. Human lives matter.

Today marks three years since Nigeria's last wild poliovirus case
Immunizations, also known as vaccinations, help protect you from getting an infectious disease. When you get vaccinated, you help protect others as well. Vaccines are very safe. It is much safer to get the vaccine than an infectious disease.
Hygiene management is critical to us @cleanng1
