🇮🇸 Iceland’s most underrated stargazing spot 🌌✨

Rising from the remote north of Iceland, the Arctic Henge is a massive stone monument designed to align with the sun, stars, and seasons. By day, it’s an impressive piece of architecture. By night, it becomes one of the country’s most magical places to watch the northern lights.

Far from the crowds, it’s where ancient inspiration meets Arctic skies.

Would you visit under the midnight sun or the aurora? 👇

I månens ljus, står det ett hus,

It looks like a sci-fi set—but this crash site is real 🇮🇸✈️🌑

The DC-3 plane wreck on Sólheimasandur has sat on Iceland’s black sands since 1973. Stark contrast, haunting decay, and unreal blue-hour vibes make it a photographer favorite.

Worth the 4km hike each way? 👇

Stranded on black sand… since 1973. 🖤✈️

The famous DC-3 plane wreckage has been sitting on Sólheimasandur’s black sand beach for decades. A hauntingly photogenic spot, it’s become one of Iceland’s most iconic landmarks — where history meets otherworldly landscapes. 🌑✨

Would you hike out to explore this eerie Icelandic icon? 👀

Special thanks to @susannagraphy

Three things that made me happy yesterday: Fine dogs, fellow photographers and snowy fells.
.
📸 @rukaskiresort Photo workshop in the books. We took a little hike to see the snowy trees with three creative tools to work with - framing, leading lines and icm, intentional camera movement. Had the best of time experimenting with the group, big thanks for all the inspiration! ❤️
.
Hope to see you again next year! ❄️
