Susie Rubenstein @susie_rubenstein makes pots to be poured or served from, mixed in, baked in, used for holding flowers, containing, and drinking, whether it’s a cup of coffee or a glass of wine. They are designed to be visually
compelling and tactilely engaging. The weight, balance, and volume of each pot, the foot and rim
that frame it and how the surface coordinates with each form are the elements that create a
dialogue with user. She likes to imagine how each piece will be held, what it will contain, and where in
someone’s home it might live in. Maybe some of her creations will be living in your home!!

Come see her work and meet Susie Ojai Art Center’s Art in the Park - this weekend, May 23rd & 24th in Libbey Park. 10 a.m. - 5 p.m.

Vases don’t wilt, but the flowers you give her for Mother’s Day will!

Put those flowers in a handcrafted vase for a lasting gift. Add that extra thoughtful touch she’ll treasure long after the petals fade.

Come by Chemers Gallery and give her something to love every single day. Plus, swoon over our juried show, Fleur-ish, through May 16th.
