Seeing 21 + years of answered prayers right in front of my eyes is something I can't put into words.... I'm really speechless and that's unusual 🤣

one of the greatest yes’ of my life has been to youth ministry. I wouldn’t trade it for anything. watching students fall in love with Jesus while using their gifts. there is nothing better than that 😭

to the storyteller, I’m so incredibly proud of you guys 😭 you persevered, then persevered and then preserved some more. you guys did it!! wouldn’t trade y’all for anything in the world!

to lost, y’all made a story so near to my heart come to life and for that I’ll be forever grateful! 🤍

Fine Arts ‘26 🤍

Fine Arts is one of the most powerful ministry tools, but it’s a completely different experience when the story being told on stage is your own testimony.
Watching these students portray such a personal season of David’s and my life is something I’ll never have the words to fully describe. I am beyond grateful for Unseen and for every hour, every prayer, every tear, and every ounce of heart that was poured into it. NO 3 IN THE NATION!!

From the very beginning, I told them that even if we were first-round exits, I would remember this team forever because of the way they carried our story with such love, care, and faithfulness.

Wretched - an incredible reminder of God’s grace—a visual representation of the grace He extends to us every single day, in every season, even when we’re at our lowest. His grace never lets go. NO 6 IN THE NATION!!

I am so incredibly proud of each of these students and their heart for advancing God’s Kingdom. The friendships I’ve gained, the memories we’ve made, and the ways I’ve seen God move through Fine Arts are gifts I’ll carry with me for a lifetime. 🤍

Last Fine Arts…

Flew to Nationals this week to watch Malea participate in Reader’s Theater and finish out Fine Arts as a student. Proud of her and Deb and Dustin. They did a great job. Coached by the best. One of which has coached Malea in every group category in which she has ever participated. Thank you Erin!

So many memories over the years. Countless stories. Watching my kids grow along the way. The friends we got to do this with. The coaches… Lord bless them. The youth group whose name they wore at every awards ceremony. The unity when one of theirs was onstage. The youth pastors and staff that planned a million details and made it all happen. I’m grateful.

Saying yes to Fine Arts was a lot. It was also worth it.
