Me when I found out I missed The Grand Maritime Bazaar 😔

Here’s one of (likely) many photo dumps from The Grand Maritime Bazaar. We had so many amazing guests and so many more amazing artists that participated in this 4-day event. For those who missed it, keep an eye out for the next post where I’ll be posting one final opportunity to get a glimpse into the magic!

Special thanks to @emmettj.photo for these wonderful photos (and Sarah Myose for the one with us holding flyers :3)

Just FYI, the next event is going to be a bit more WOODy 😈

WE VANT YOU TO COME TO CLOWN JAM
What better way to spend the most blessed day of the year? Wichita, Clown Jam is serving up a stacked lineup of spooky surprises, monstrous laughs and enough theatrical mayhem to raise the dead. 🪦💀

Come meet wannabe horror host, Victor Vlad von Vichtenstein, who resides in a haunted Victorian mansion with a houseful of fabulous, unsettling and downright strange roommates- because apparently even monsters need someone to split the rent with.

Join us at @harvesterarts for a frightfully fun Halloween night. It’s sure to be a scream. 😈

Ramon Fonseca (@gaypostmalone) and the Salmon Roe Collective brought a unique art-buying experience to downtown Wichita this month. The Grand Maritime Bazaar opened Thursday with A Feast for the Eyes, a performance art "dinner service" during which patrons ordered from a limited-edition art menu.

On Friday, the bazaar reopened as the Grand Fish Market, selling prints, charms and other items by artists Anri, Delilah Reed, Pierre Rovaris, Sam Gales, and Fonseca.

Espresso to Go Go once occupied the small storefront at 102 N. St. Francis St. Since the coffee shop's closure in 2024, the space has been home to a series of pop-ups, including Del Norte Studio and Planted Tea Shop.

The last chance to check out the market is 10 a.m.-8 p.m. on Sunday, August 30.

ERM do you need a little more ✨whimsy✨ in your life? We’ll LOOK NO FURTHER!

Salmon Roe Art Collective will be producing a 4 day art production that will include a magical dinner service where mermaids & mer-theys are the waiters and art is on the menu! The following three days, we will be transforming the old Espresso To Go Go space into a fish market carnival with fishing games, raffles, prize wheels, and art on display as if being sold at Pike’s Place!

Scan the QR code above or go to my Linktree for a link to RSVP your spot at the dinner service and learn more about the event, and follow the Instagram handles above to get more sneak peeks into the show!

There are over FIFTEEN local artists involved in this art experience, and FIVE local artists featuring their art at the event- Anri, Delilah Reed, Pierre Rovaris, Ramon Fonseca, and Sam Gales. We’ll also be featuring DJ Keenan at our final day celebration!

The dinner service is free to RSVP, and the fish market the following days are free to the public; no RSVP required!

Come out and see us August 27th-30th

Saturday we’ll open the market early at 8am, and Sunday we’ll open an hour late!

Thank you to all the clowns who have made the first half of the year such a joyous ride. Between workshops and Clown Jam we have brought nearly 50 new clowns into the world and there is so much more foolery to be had!

We’ll see you at @harvesterarts for the next CLOWN JAM on Halloween night. 🎃👻

I’m excited to be heading to Portland, ME to teach my beginner clown workshop- CLOWN CAMP with @acornproductionsportland on July 18.

Wow. What an insane run with @moonwalkerhq and @pretoria. Best tour we’ve ever been on! Met so many cool people, made a bunch of new fans, felt love everywhere we went, and had a blast hanging with the other bands in the touring group

Couldn’t have asked for a better run of shows. Seriously. Thanks so much to everyone who made it out! We’re now back in the lab finishing up the album, so stay tuned for some of the best music we’ve ever made
