I remember in makeup school, my teacher was going to glam up a celebrity. It was @suswilkins, and I thought, wow, could I be good enough to put myself in that room one day?

So when I ran into Sus at my own hairdresser, I worked up my courage and walked up to her offering to glam her up. We connected and the rest is history. 🥰

Go after your dreams, because they might be in closer reach than you think. 🤎🙏🏼

Thanks for letting me into your beautiful home, Sus. Hope to paint your beautiful face many more times ✨

To kick off the week, we wanted to take a moment to highlight our Copenhagen community and the people who make it what it is.

You show up, you put in the work, and keep the studio alive and full of energy. Thank you for being part of it! 🩵💪

Taking apart our Southampton pop-up yesterday made me think about how many pop-ups and outdoor activations we’ve done by now.

They’re almost always a total stress to put together and take down - and I can tell you, you get very tired of moving this machinery around - but somehow, they’ve always been worth it.

Our first pop-ups in Copenhagen were on private beaches and piers around the city. A few were even shut down halfway through by the police. We didn’t have a studio yet, and I was just anxious to get people training and experience what we were building.

Since then, we’ve done two full studio pop-ups in the Hamptons, both giving us the chance to bring NRTHRN Strong to more people in a completely different setting.

The part nobody really sees is everything it takes to get from an idea to actually making one of these happen. You rely on friends and family, last-minute favors, and very often the kindness of strangers. Without all of them, half of these probably never would have happened.

Here’s a little look back - and a reminder that sometimes the only limit to what you can create, even in a very short period of time, is your imagination ✌🏻🩵

The arrival of the equipment for our first Hamptons pop-up probably takes the prize.

We had a one-hour window to unload, and when the truck arrived in pouring rain, there was absolutely no way we were getting the heavy stuff off ourselves.

A very kind man with a forklift came to the rescue (although I may have forced him a little) and somehow we got everything out in time. 🙏

Multiple collaborations with Soho House Copenhagen, bringing the equipment out onto the pier in front. Always such a good time - and one of the best settings to train in Copenhagen 🌊

How we managed to get all the equipment down onto this pier still amazes me. But a lot of it comes down to the man on the next slide… 👷‍♂️

Opening our Hamptons pop-up this year was not without a few hiccups. Our new machines didn’t arrive in time, so the day before opening we pulled our old ones out of storage.

This was the eventual machine swap when the new ones finally arrived, chaotic and a workout in itself 🧘🏼‍♀️

Multiple runs back and for
