I still don’t think I have the right words for what this day means to me. 🥹❤️

To be loved so intentionally, to be thought of so deeply, and to have people go out of their way to make a moment special for you is a feeling I will never take for granted. Most of my friends came from outside the state just to be there, and I was completely caught off guard. Me, of all people, who is always suspicious of everything! 😂😭 You all really got me.

Looking back at this video, my heart is full all over again. The planning, the effort, the sacrifices, the thoughtfulness, the love in that room… it all meant so much more than I could properly express that day. Even those who could not make it down that day sent their best wishes and I felt the love. You reminded me that I have people who will show up for me, who will celebrate me, and who will make sure I feel loved even when I least expect it.

As I prepared to leave, you all gave me something beautiful to carry with me. Should I talk about my hand written notes from each of you??? The epistles of love and prayers??? The reminder that distance may change where I am, but it will never diminish what we share. I have watched this video countless times with so much gratitude, and even now, I still get emotional thinking about how loved I am.

If there is one thing I will never stop thanking God for, it is the gift of my FRIENDS. My friends who love with intention and who put action behind their words. My talk and do friends!🤭😌

My people, my core’, my friends. 🥹❤️ I love you all more than this caption can ever explain. Thank you for showing up for me in a way I will never forget. Thank you for being YOU. I carry this love with me, always. And if I had to do life all over again, I would pray to find you all over and over.

While I was preparing to resume 100 level, I stumbled on videos from Suu Daada @suudada_ and Ajayi Oluwanifemi @_.oluwaniifemi_ on YouTube, and honestly, those videos helped me so much. They gave me a little glimpse into what school life at Ajayi Crowther University would be like and helped me prepare for the place I was coming to.

Now, a few years later, this is me giving back as much as I have received. 🥹
