Cornwall had been on my dream list for years. 🌿💚 I lived in London for almost a decade in my 20s and somehow never made it there — always imagining the lush forests, wild coastline and all that nature.

Never in a million years did I think that when I finally went, it would be as a hyperactive, ridiculously invested BJJ white belt 😂 spending an unforgettable weekend training with one of the best black belts in the world, @ffiffipengtinginlondon ❤️🙏🏼

Since starting BJJ, my relationship with my mind and body has completely changed — especially my ideas about what I can and can’t do. It keeps surprising me, challenging me and showing me that I’m capable of so much more than I thought. And who knew I’d be well into my late 30s and apparently on the road to the best shape of my life 😂🫶🏼

So getting to spend a few days moving my body, learning, rolling, connecting with people, being surrounded by this insanely beautiful landscape — and mostly just having such a laugh — felt pretty special.

Then topping it all off with the most beautiful, nourishing yoga sessions with @practice.with.poppy 💛🥰 This whole experience felt like such an unexpected full-circle moment. ⭕️

Here’s to rediscovering yourself over and over again. To keeping your heart and mind open to new directions, new opportunities, new people and experiences you never could have planned for. And most of all, to never giving up on yourself — there might be versions of you that you haven’t even met yet. ❤️‍🔥🥳💃🏻

It’s impossible to put into words how inspiring, fun, wild and beautiful our weekend in Cornwall was — but I hope this reel makes you feel at least a little bit of what we experienced. ❤️‍🔥🥋🔥

BJJ has completely changed my life. It opened the door to a whole different world — and to a beautiful, supportive and savage community I never knew I needed.

To be able to travel, train, roll, laugh and meet so many inspiring humans along the way has honestly been a dream come true.

Thank you Ffion @ffiffipengtinginlondon & Poppy @practice.with.poppy for hosting such a beautiful retreat at Cabilla, and for sharing your light, knowledge, experience and love with all of us. 💖🥹🙏🏼

And to everyone I shared the mats, sweat, food, laughs and space with — thank you, thank you, thank you. You all feel like my long lost extended family haha
