POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

What an absolutely spell-tastic time we had, celebrating @ardenelizajones , @saoirselouscribbles @puffinbooksuk and the publication of WITCHY BOO at @thechickenandfrog bookshop (which I've wanted to visit for the longest time... and didn't disappoint!).

The launch was beautiful and buzzy and perfect in every way... including the spells, the decor, the cakes, the music and the mega signing queue! I hope the reel does it justice, because it was absolutely magical to celebrate these talented and beautiful creatives on their achievement. I hope you all know how booo-rilliant you are ... wishing Witchy Boo every success!

A very big shout out to the wonderful competition winner Daisy for her brilliant drawing of a Dragon🔥🐲 Daisy’s artwork features as a drawing taped on the door to the littles boys den🤩 @lucymayrowland and I picked the winner together. Well done Daisy!!! Also I just wanted to say a big well done to everyone else and their brilliant drawings too❤️ What a talented bunch. It was very hard to choose. I know as a child I would have loved to be able to think I could have had a chance at having my artwork featured in a book!

🎂 Happy 1 year + 1 month birthday to me! 🎂

The blog was one year old on 15th July. Due to heatwaves, holidays and various other reasons for things being hectic, I didn't get a chance to celebrate properly at the time.

Belated birthday giveaway coming later today and in the meantime, take a look at the MOST-READ reviews between 15th July 2020 & 15th July 2021.

Go to link in bio to find all of these fantastic books and see the full lists below.

Thanks so much to all the lovely people I've met via Bookstagram over the past year. It has been amazing to discover a world I didn't even know existed, connect with so many children's literature enthusiasts, authors & illustrators AND discover so many more terrific books.

Hoping to launch my own freelance business soon (watch this space - details to follow!). This wouldn't be happening if not for the blog, so I'm incredibly grateful for all the connections made here and the support in the last 13 months. ❤️

Share with me!
It’s Sunday, what better way to spend it than thinking of all the funny/strange/kind of gross habits that children have - and then share them with me!
What do they do that makes you smile, grimace, laugh & tear your hair out (or all in equal proportions)
What are those totally random things they do that make you wonder what on earth that small human is up to?

Highlight of my week atm - the food shop (it’s not really, but it is the only event on my calendar this week so deserving of a big up).
Next week things go wild with a trip to the vets for the cat to have the ✂️ 🙀)
