I’m in awe of my life. This week alone I have gotten to grind out graduate program essays with my babe @helenaflowz, coordinate the schedule for the harm reduction team I get to build and run at Jenkstar for Electric Desert Invasion with all my favorite people running and creating everything from performance and music to security where I also get to perform fire sword as an alien with @cosmic.corral, work on a bathroom remodel and a performance arts piece for @slclunatics with my best friend @suzieqcoco, finalize a proposal to present to potentially help develop the first veterans art therapy pilot program in the state of Utah, design and practice two performance arts pieces one of which is in fuckin Vegas, spend time with the sweetest mans who I adore @jarek.spencer, process grief with my somatic experiencing practitioner, and coordinate plans with my community out East. 🤯 And JUST LIKE THAT, with ONE two week insane trip to the desert— I am finally back to ME, to my full bandwidth. To the full breadth and depth of who I am, where I am headed, and what I want to be doing. Yall remember three years ago when I said I wanted my life to be 1/3 performance arts, 1/3 mental health, and 1/3 trades on a foundation of community, nature, and somatic expression?? We are there. 🎪 THE AIRSHIP CIRCUS ✈️ 📜 THE LORE Here for the party? No lore homework required! Think monsters, airplanes, and a wildly good time. 🧛🐺🧟 But for those who love a deeper story… here’s how the Monsterpocalypse began. 👇 In this alternate history, much like the Manhattan Project, occultists and scientists worked through the Second World War to push the boundaries of humanity and secure total victory. The Axis struck first. Scientists and alchemists isolated Formula V, the supernatural essence of vampire venom. Armed with magic and vampiric powers, their dreadnauts and night-strike troopers conquered the European theater in a fortnight. 🩸 A terrifying victory for fascism. Driven to the brink, American and surviving Allied doctors combined the power of spirits from Native American lore with a stolen vial of Formula V to create a counterstrike force. The Pack was born. 🐺🌕 But the dead refused to stay dead. The infections kept spreading. Humans and animals turned feral, and the world fell to the mindless hordes. The Monsterpocalypse had begun. 🧟🌍 Humans took to the wild blue yonder. Engineers, pilots, scientists, and artists built airborne sanctuaries, hidden hangars, and ingenious ways to survive. The Aeronauts rose. ⚙️✈️ Sentient vampires, liches, and werewolves survived too. Some even thrived. Now, 82 years after the first vampire attacks of March 1944, civilization has transformed.
