Coach,
it's been over half a year since I last saw you, but you never left me. if I could talk to you again, I'd be as honest as you've always been with us. I wouldn't lie and say that your team upheld your character, or that we always acted with your discipline in mind. I'd tell you all about the insanity that ensued your passing, about those who took advantage of your absence. I'd tell you about the ups and downs of my last half year, about how I lost myself, about the moments we all wanted to quit. but I'd also have loads to tell you about the bonds I've built, the memories I've made while navigating this new team, the man who stepped up to fight for us, those who've supported me, the things we've accomplished, and the ways you continue to guide me down my walk of life. grieving you has been far from pretty, but when I'm about to walk onto that mat and feel you right behind me, I know giving up isn't an option.

Blessed to be able to share a few moments with our Wrestlers at the recent Ultimate Warrior Challenge at Pieper High School.

These guys and gals are diligent in their focus and are pacing along nicely as the 2023 portion of their ‘23-‘24 High School season comes to a close.

Grateful for the opportunity to share this time in their life and even more so seeing them develop into leaders on and off the mats.

Looking forward to seeing them all kicking off and closing out 2024 strong.
