LAST WEEK — Vässa myllan / Sharpen the Soil / Die Erde schärfen! This exhibition takes place in the region of Sweden where I grew up — my ground, in a literal and personal sense.

For the installation, I wanted to activate the floor and create a movement through the space. The sculptures could not simply stand on the existing plastic floor; the ground needed to become part of the work.

I used damp sand that could be spread directly onto the floor. It became a kind of drawing, marking the ground and connecting the sculptures across the different rooms.
My daughter drawing, paintings and sculpture are also a part of this installation.

**The exhibition is open for its last week at Svarta Gran.** It can also be visited at other times by appointment with Svarta Gran.
