We had the BEST time with @udadance this week! This was all of our Hawks’ first time at an on-site UDA Camp, and we loved every minute of it. We’re so grateful to have had four days of learning new things, making new friends, and growing our bond as a team. 🖤🤍

This season is going to be a good one. ✨ #gohawksgo #theeastway

‼️ATHLETE OF THE WEEK, Leah Hegarty‼️
Leah is a senior and a four-year member of the Cougarettes. She recently helped lead the team to an impressive finish at the OASSA State Championship, earning 3rd place in Medium Hip Hop, 4th in Small Pom, and 5th in Medium Jazz.
Beyond her success on the dance floor, Leah is a standout in the classroom and in leadership roles throughout Southview. She serves as Editor-in-Chief of both The Catalyst and the Yearbook, is President of the National Honor Society, and is actively involved in Student Government and Student Senate. Leah carries a 4.4 GPA. Head coach, Paige Britton, commented, “Leah brings consistency, discipline, and dedication to every practice and performance. She leads by example through her work ethic, positive attitude, and commitment to the team. She gives it her all in and out of practice, and is always there for her teammates. Leah has shown what a leader looks like.” Following graduation, Leah plans to attend either the University of Tennessee or The Ohio State University to major in Public Affairs on a pre-law track.
