this last year was something i didn’t expect. a year ago from now i felt like i was starting over. throughout the year i had similar feelings i had through other years.. “i’ve done this before..” “i know what im doing..” but today i look at the last year and think.. how lucky was i to be given an opportunity to start over? i was given a fresh start to take care of myself. i was fortunate enough to be fired from a job i so badly hated, i was fortunate enough to quit things in my life that no longer served me, i was fortunate enough to build new friendships and relationships. every year comes with downs, which 2024 was filled with. there were countless times i had my break downs, and days i just wish i could close my eyes and stop the world. but i had more days where i felt so thankful to be where i am, even if it wasn’t where i expected to be. i was so lucky to be able to start a new job, a job that yes maybe i knew for the most part what i was doing..but a job that i knew i loved and would value. i was lucky enough to go to my favorite music festival..i volunteered with stefan at the festival and was able to see a different side of the festival you wouldn’t normally see.
