POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Rooted in Turkish wedding traditions, this collection explores the red bridal scarf as a symbol of purity, family honor, and the expectations placed on women. Drawing from traditional colors, silhouettes, and symbolism, it revisits the romantic vision of marriage through a lens of independence and self-expression. Rather than positioning the bride as a gift passed between families, the collection places her at the center of her own story, celebrating the freedom to shape her identity, honor her heritage, and define marriage on her own terms

Based in Reutlingen, Germany, Lea Scheckenbach’s Beyond Perfection reflects a fashion narrative rooted in authenticity, individuality, and self-acceptance. Created as part of her work at Reutlingen University, the collection considers imperfection not as something to hide, but as a mark of growth, strength, and being human. Inspired by First Time on Earth by Alex Warren, the project captures the emotional reality of experiencing life with all its flaws and learning to embrace your own path.
