“LOOK AT THE PAST, BE IN THE PRESENCE, CREATE THE FUTURE”

↘️ Part of the current semester theme of @htwberlin ‘s fashion program, lectured by Professor Grit Seymour, who - along with her design students - I was happy to meet in my studio to talk about the evolution of fashion and my personal approach to designing a collection.

After a discussion round that involved interesting questions like “What makes fashion timeless?”, we toured my collection archives together and the students were able to choose their favorite fabrics and accessories to reinterpret and create their own garments with.

Learning from the past and creating the future 💫

I am excited to see what designs they come up with and am looking forward to another visit!
