Smithson Valley HS amazed us at the Comal ISD marching Festival. The students performance never disappoint. With this show we are pretty sure they will be representing the San Antonio area at the 5A state championship.

A huge Shout Out to the Smithson Valley Ranger Marching Band for allowing me to Bake for your “Meet the Band” Event!! 🎶💙 I can’t wait to watch the Band Perform their new show “Bad Romance” during halftime.

Planning an upcoming event? I’d love to help make it extra sweet with delicious baked treats! Be sure to ask me about fundraising opportunities, too.🍪

It took a little longer than we had thought, with all the hard work that goes in to marching bands we wanted to give you a upscale magazine that you would be proud to be in. The magazine also lists all the winners in the Movement 35 awards. Hope you enjoy, looks better on a laptop or a tablet. We will post a link on the website tomorrow.

Cameron is fundraising for Marching Band 2024! Many of us know that October is really Bandtober and this year we have several big band competitions on the schedule! Fundraising helps them with uniforms, transportation, props for the show, purchasing of music, instrument maintenance, and entry fees for competitions. Click here to help support these amazing kids!

She would absolutely LOVE your support! She’s really enjoying the show this year and I’m excited to post clips of it from upcoming events. Our next football game is on Friday 9/27 against Pieper HS (come and see us play halftime!). The next competition is on Saturday, September 28th for the Seguin Marching Festival - I believe anyone is welcome to see what marching band is all about and more specifically to support SVHS band! These kids pour so much work into the show every year - it always amazes me!

Jarrod works the Pit Crew for props, getting instruments to the field, etc. Pit Crew builds all the props, paints, fixes stuff, and helps transport all the things to each game and competition.

Cameron plays the Mellophone during marching season and the French Horn during concert season. 💙🤍💙🤍💙 (She’s the one in the middle of the picture above!)

(Music choice… we used to sing Paparazzi to her at bedtime, and she loved dancing to Lady Gaga when she was a Super Tiny. 😉)
