💒 CBC Southside 💒 Soon to be CBC Brooks 💒
It’s always amazing to watch Sarah lead worship. There is something so beautiful about seeing a heart completely surrendered to the Lord.
The truth is, you don’t need a perfect prayer... just an honest one. Sometimes the only words we can find are, “You are my everything.” And honestly, that’s enough. 💞
There are seasons when the words run out. Seasons when you’re tired, overwhelmed, or carrying more than you can explain. Yet those are often the moments when worship becomes the most real. Not polished. Not performative. Just a heart crying out to Jesus.
“As the deer pants for streams of water, so my soul pants for You, my God.” Psalm 42:1 ❤️
If you’ve ever had a moment where all you could say was, “You are my everything,” this is for you. 🤍
Comment 🙌 if that line hit you.
If this met you where you are today, save it for later or send it to someone who needs the reminder that God hears every honest prayer. 🕊️

🔥Tonight was something special at One Night with all Central CBC campuses coming together. 🔥 Middle schoolers and high schoolers united in worship, lifting their hands and hearts in surrender. As Takeover played, the lyrics weren’t just words, they became a prayer: 🙏
“Holy Spirit, I surrender forever. Take over me. God, I want to be baptized in Your fire.” ❤️‍🔥
Sometimes the best thing we can do is close our eyes, let go of distractions, and allow the Holy Spirit to move. Tonight was a reminder that when we fully surrender, God can take us anywhere He wants us to go. ❤️‍🔥
“Breathe on me, Breath of God... I throw my hands up in the air, so You can take me anywhere.”
“Create in me a clean heart, O God, and renew a right spirit within me.” Psalm 51:10 ✨

✨ CBC 💒 One Night was truly unforgettable! ✨
Last night, our middle school and high school students gathered for an amazing evening filled with fellowship, worship, laughter, and time in God’s Word. It was such a blessing to see young hearts growing in faith, encouraging one another, and seeking the Lord together. We are thankful for every student, leader, and volunteer who made this night so special. 💝
“Let no one despise your youth, but set the believers an example in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith, in purity.” ✝️ • 1 Timothy 4:12
Here’s to raising up the next generation to know, love, and follow Jesus! ❤️🙌

Shana Tova 🍎🍯

A NIGHT TO REMEMBER. 📯

Friday night, our congregation gathered for Rosh Hashanah/Yom Teruah, the Feast of Trumpets.

The shofar sounded.
The congregation worshiped.
Hearts were turned back to Adonai.

More than tradition.
More than a celebration.
An appointed time.

A call to AWAKEN.
A call to REMEMBER.
A call to RETURN.

As we enter this new year, may we walk with greater faith, deeper obedience, and renewed purpose.

L’Shanah Tovah. 🍎🍯📯

“In the seventh month, on the first day of the month, you shall observe a day of solemn rest, a memorial proclaimed with blast of trumpets, a holy convocation.”
Leviticus 23:24

🙌🔥 SUNDAY SERVICE RECAP | GOD, WE PRAISE YOU! 🔥🙌

Today we truly screamed, “GOD, WE PRAISE YOU!” 🙌❤️ What an incredible Sunday in the presence of God!

Worship was outstanding today, as always, with Sarah and the entire Southside Worship Team leading us into an atmosphere where you could truly feel God moving. From Eric leading us in worship, to Sarah’s altar call, Julie blessing us with an amazing song, and then Sarah closing out with “House of Miracles” — every moment was powerful. 🙏✨

Today, I was serving in Back of House (BOH) doing production, but my phone’s POV looked a little different today. 📱🎥

From the back, we call the sanctuary “Front of House,” and let me tell you… FOH felt ALIVE today! 🔥🙌

But here’s the thing: what you see on stage doesn’t even begin to show everything that happens behind the scenes.

The preparation.
The rehearsals.
The feedback.
The adjustments.
The countless little details.
The teamwork.

All of it comes together so we can create an environment where people can encounter God. ❤️

There is so much that happens behind the scenes that most people never see, but every camera shot, every transition, every light, every sound, and every moment matters.

Different POV. Same God. Same purpose. One incredible weekend. 🙏🔥

God, we praise You for what You’re doing at CBC Southside!
To God be all the glory! ❤️🙌

🔥 REVIVAL NIGHT 🔥

Last night was nothing but “God, I’m grateful for You.” 🙌❤️

The worship was AMAZING as always—and with the greatest, most amazing worship leader ever… Sarah Villarreal.

Then we heard an incredible message from our Campus Pastor, Josh Lopez, with a word that hit deep:

“Some people will choose a familiar prison over an unfamiliar promise.”

Whew. 😮‍💨🔥 Sometimes what’s familiar feels safer, but God is calling us into something greater. The promise may be unfamiliar, but His presence is always worth the step of faith.

And then we CLOSED OUT IN WORSHIP! 🙌🔥

You could feel the energy in the room. You could feel God moving. Chains were breaking, hearts were being changed, and the atmosphere was ELECTRIC!

HELL HAS BEEN DEFEATED. 👊🔥
HE LOST ANOTHER ONE. 🙌

THIS IS WHAT WE DO.
THIS IS REVIVAL.

Come on somebody… AMEN! 🙏🔥
