The kind of guys you’d love to meet. The kind of team you’d hate to play. 🏀🔥
Spending time with @svsu_mbb ‘s basketball, what stood out was how personable these young men are. Polite. Friendly. Easy to talk to. Then you hear them talk about basketball and the hunger comes through.
They’re student-athletes carrying books, expectations, and big goals. You can see the determination Coach Chris and his staff are building in them.
We have something worth supporting right here in our community. Let’s fill some seats for these players, their coaches, and the families cheering them on.
Who’s coming to a game? 🔴⚪

Excited to announce that 21 men’s college programs have RSVP’d for tomorrow’s 2026 Toledo Top 64. Our mission is to give Toledo’s best a stage to compete right here at home, in front of college coaches.

Coaches Perspective!!!

We appreciated the opportunity to sit down with the SVSU Men’s Basketball coach and hear his perspective on leadership, growth and the responsibility that comes with influencing young men.

Follow the initiative. Make a difference.

Last week we had the privilege to watch Coach Tom Izzo speak at the Tip Off dinner for the SVSU Men’s Basketball season.

Do you like what you do? Love what you do? Or do you LIVE what you do?

Greatness is a privilege and an honor, it’s not a right. @svsu_mbb

MEN ARE ANSWERING THE QUESTION: What does it mean to be a good man?

From the players, workshops, podcasts guests the WORD OF THE MONTH is HUMBLE

Every month, we’re choosing a word to challenge us to think about the kind of men we want to be — not just in our sport, but in the way we show up every day.

This month, we’re focusing on HUMBLE.

Being Humble is about staying grounded, being willing to learn, giving credit to others, and letting your actions speak for themselves.

Start the month by getting into small groups on your team and asking:
Or participate on your own - same question:

QUESTION 1: How can you be a strong leader and demonstrate humility?
☑️By putting the team first
☑️Owning your role
☑️Treating everyone with respect

QUESTION 2: When is it hardest for you to stay humble?
☑️In success
☑️In competition
☑️In failure?
Why?

Then comes the challenge: put it into action.

Give credit. Own your mistakes. Listen. Help without needing recognition.

Whatever it looks like for you — live it out all month long.

Tag @callingonallgoodmen and show us how you’re putting HUMBLE into action.

If you’re a coach or athletic program looking to create more intentional conversations with your athletes, we’d love to connect.

Back with the @svsu_mbb program for another year to grow as good men.

This time around, we had the chance to reconnect with the team, pick up where we left off, and create space for honest conversations about character, relationships, and the kind of men they want to be.

What we appreciate most about coming back is seeing a group willing to listen, share, challenge one another, and have conversations that go beyond basketball.

Thank you to SVSU Basketball for continuing to support the work of Calling All Good Men and for making space for these conversations with your players. We enjoyed being back with the group and look forward to keeping the conversation going through our Word of the Month and mid-month discussions.

Come watch the story of Calling On All Good Men unfold. Share COAGM with a loved one:)

Another meaningful year at Saginaw Valley State University - @svsucardinals @svsuathletics - working alongside student-athletes who are committed to becoming better leaders, teammates, and men!

This is our second year working with @svsusoccer and @svsu_mbb , and our first year working with @svsu_football. We’re grateful to each program for welcoming us in, engaging in the conversation, and being willing to challenge themselves beyond the field/court.

The game matters. Who you become through it matters more.

To the athletes and coaches at SVSU—thank you for showing up, speaking honestly, and being willing to have the conversations that matter. That’s what Calling All Good Men is about, leading with a positive, empowering message: men can actively make a difference — not just be told what not to do.

The call is simple: Protect What Matters Most
