This is a djembe! About two years ago the vision of it and the hand placement appeared in my head. I ordered one on Amazon but never really played it or got to make music with it.

I’m sitting in the back listening to the jam and I look over and THERE’S JESS WITH A GUITAR AND A FREAKING DJEMBE!!!!!!! I got to spend a solid hour drumming to some of the best musicians in the area!!!

Of course, had to get my Charity in the picture!!!!

I simply can’t keep this bottled up any longer!

My new single, Whiskey Business, is out on 6/30 🥃
presave link is in my bio.

HUGE shoutout to all the amazing people who made this possible:
@swade.suede on drums, recorded by @arecordingstudio
@megabeth_bass on bass
@brshreds on electric guitar (with some fun acoustic twang by @dannygussman )
And of course the incredibly talented @subtonic24 who brought it all together and mixed/mastered!!

I can’t wait for y’all to hear it. I dug deep into my country roots for this one, and I hope you love it as much as I do 🤠
