From coffee tables to salon dryers and bedroom walls, @rightondigitalofficial holds a special place in our culture. It gave generations of us the opportunity to see ourselves reflected in its pages. A legacy worth celebrating!

I ate my way through @foodiecon @nycwff , caught @choibites demo @wonder activation, and met August DeWindt (@theres.food.at.home ), one of the winners of the Ballin’ on a Bodega Budget challenge! 👏🏾

Good food, new discoveries, and a few things learned along the way. My kind of experience!

Food is so much more than something we eat. It’s an adventure, a cultural experience, and an opportunity to discover something extraordinary! 🌎✨

This October, I had the most delicious time at FoodieCon and the Bollywood-inspired events at the New York City Wine & Food Festival! From incredible tastings to meeting celebrity food personalities, influencers, and Food Network chefs, every moment was a feast for the senses! 🍽️💃🏽 #NYCWFF #FoodieCon #FoodieAdventures #StayCurious #FoodAndCulture FoodNetwork CulinaryExploration ExperienceLife FoodieLifestyle LiveLifeFully

The owner/trainer, Mr. Plummer of The Educated Horsemen, kept saying, “Let me know once you’re comfortable,” so we could go on the trail.

Well… that never happened. 😂

I never even learned my horse’s name, but I knew we were not a good team. She didn’t want to ride, and I didn’t want to fall, but we pushed through anyway.

I’m not really an animal person, but I’ve always wondered if I could ever mount a horse. Now I know I can.

Will I do it again? I’m not sure. But I’m glad I did it once.

Because the older I get, the more I think about what it means for Black women to live full lives.

Not just productive lives.
Not just successful lives.
Not lives centered around work, motherhood, responsibility, and taking care of everybody else.

Full, fun, fabulous lives! ✨✨

Lives where we try things simply because we’ve always wondered what they would feel like. Where we collect experiences, laugh at ourselves, get a little scared, and still have stories to tell afterward.

So horseback riding? Mentally checked off the list. ✔️

And there are still so many other ways I want to live. 💚

That's right! It's a @stramango appreciation post, because it wouldn't be a Kulture Rich Event with her! Stramango has been our resident DJ since our very first Sip n shop! She's not just a DJ, she's smooth with her rap, and sexy on the sax!! If you've ever seen her in person you know she keeps the vibes going, the dance floor open, and the music flowing! Kulture Rich Events is a family business and Stramango is definitely a part of our family! Join us on December 5th @sanmanstudios for The Houston Renaissance and get your party on! Tickets are on sale now!

While performing “You're All I Need” @thecookoutbychefjj @methodmanofficial searched the crowd for his wife… and there she was, standing right in front of us, enjoying the show with the rest of the ladies! 🥹❤️

After all these years, she’s still his ONE. Now THAT’S #BlackLove 🖤

You can’t be the best-kept secret and the go-to name at the same time.

Which one are you trying to be?

Something to think about this weekend. 👀

And when you’re ready to stop being the best-kept secret, use the link in my bio to get on my calendar next week. Let’s work on getting you seen, known, and sought after. 💚
