Yesterday we went to the last regular season game of the Lady Gator’s basketball team with our champion All-Stars 12U team. It was amazing! After the game we even got to meet our favorite players (many who are seniors and aren’t coming back next year 😞). It was the perfect way for our girls to end their season and to dream big of all that could be! I can’t say enough how much our Newberry basketball family means to us. What an awesome day!! #ladygatorbasketball #basketball #girlballers @darinerskine @swamptrain1

And the 2024 basketball season has come to an end and what a season it was! I can’t even put into words how proud I am of Sunny, Judah and Coach D. Judah and Coach D ended last week with a winning season. And they played with so much heart today at the tournament. Judah scored 2 baskets! It was amazing to see how far they had come since the first practice.

Sunny and the All-Stars went on to be the top seed of the tournament with a 6 and 1 record and won both their games today ending with another championship win!!

I love basketball and watching my kids grow and develop their skills.

We can’t thank all our friends and family enough who came out throughout the season to support. It means more than you know.

And a huge thank you to our coaches Jennifer Scott, Alden Coach-Ac Crawford and of course my favorite Darin Erskine. You all make such a difference in each of the kids who learned for your guidance.

Now comes the let down of no more basketball Saturdays. Till next season!
