Happy Heritage Day, Cape Town! 🇿🇦🇫🇷

🇬🇧 Today, we celebrate heritage in all its forms. Cape Town is also home to a French and French-speaking community that creates, cooks, welcomes and builds businesses. Today, we’re launching the website that brings you a little taste of France as well as local favorites! ✨

Swan Lake but it’s a cafe

Nestled in the vibrant heart of Cape Town is Swan Café which truly embodies the quintessential cafe experience, making it an absolute must-visit destination for locals & travelers alike.

From the moment you walk through the door, you are greeted by striking, beautifully curated aesthetics, from vibrant interior designs & charming gold-framed menu boards to a stylish, cozy atmosphere that immediately feels welcoming.

The setting is pure perfection, blending effortless European charm with Cape Town’s energetic spirit, creating the ultimate backdrop for catching up with loved ones.

It is the kind of memorable spot where you immediately start planning your next visit with friends & family before you’ve even finished your order & it easily stands out as one of the finest gems to experience in the city.

We never believed them anyways. Below our favorite Cape Town eateries in no particular order:

@frankiefennermeatmerchants (yep, best steak we’ve ever had)
@pizzashedrooftop (best pizza in the world. seriously get the pepperoni hot 🍯)
@eatokara (5-star food with 5-star views)
@paulinescoffeect (THE BEST SOURDOUGH ON EARTH)
@la_farms (best lamb burger)
@ocean_basket (fresh seafood, great price and the 🦪🫪)
@montreal_coffee_ (ohh baby their bagels)
@lookouthoutbay (best restaurant in Hout Bay hands down)
@damhuis_restaurant (I’m still savoring the 🦐)
@swancafect (best crepes out of France)
@morogelato (best gelato out of Italia)
@our_local (you’ll feel like your eating a home cooked meal)

Honestly I don’t know what they do to the dough here but the bread, pizza and pasta ABSOLUTELY INSANE.

The END.

There are moments when a garment becomes more than what you wear.

The Swan Female Chef Coat is a nod to the women who have shaped kitchens, careers and industries with quiet confidence, unmistakable finesse and the determination to carve their own path.

Because sometimes, recognition looks like seeing a little of your own journey reflected in the room around you.

Not every Chef garment changes the way you work (or feel) but these sure do, and for the better:

When the pressure rises, your uniform shouldn’t be adding to the heat.

If you’re thinking about your chef uniform - it’s probably getting in your way…

Looking sharp at the start of service is easy. Looking well-put-together and composed at the end is what counts.

The best ideas don’t come from boardrooms or admin offices. They come from busy kitchens and real life working chefs!

Confidence isn’t stitched into a jacket. But the right jacket can help you find it…
