More than two years after it’s recording, and more than a year after the lead single; our second single from our debut album, MEXICAN WRESTLING is finally out. We take this moment to show our gratitude to @swancircus and @marsattacksisnotmyfavorite for lending their incredible musicianship on the drums and bass, respectively. Our very own @juliankindermann produced, recorded, and mixed this in his legendary Electric Iguana Studios in Marin, CA. Mastered by the amazing @timothy_stollenwerk and our cover model is the wonderful @axel.415 . Thank you all for singing it with us live for many years. Hope you enjoy it, and see you in the ring tonight!

Heeeeeeey NEKROLYTES!

So listen… we heard that not all 466 of you can make it to the New Farm this Wednesday- that’s a hard pill pill to swallow, but we have GOOD NEWS!

Our NEXT show after that one is on June 20th at the @arthousegallery2905 in Berkeley where we will be hosted by the fabulous Harold once again. It’s aN AWESOME venue, and if you miss it, you’ll be missing a treat.

We will be joined by the multi-instrumental talent of @swancircus and the illustrious @eliartsnfarts (known from such wonderful acts as PSDSP (so good) and @progfrogband (yes yes yes!))

Mark your calendars Nekrolytes 👁️🪱🫵

TOMORROW, Thursday 2/19! Xocé Roman headlines El Rioooo for a night of cosmic art rock, punk, and moooore 🪰🎵💫🐛🌀🌈

José Román was born in Carolina, Puerto Rico some time in the late 60s or early 70s. As a young journalism student at the University of Puerto Rico, he was a pioneer of the island’s underground punk-rock scene. Armed with his trusty drum machine and adopting the nom de plume Xocé Román, he founded Descojón Urbano, heavily influenced by the industrial sounds of Ministry and Wax Traxrecords. He was also a founding member of Burning Face, Puerto Rico’s first goth band. As the 90s progressed, he was also involved in the burgeoning electronic music scene, founding the Antártica project. He now resides in Southern California, where he continues to produce music under the name O.P.A.L.

We are not this person and this band is not José Román.

José Román is not a member of Xocé Román.

But he approves this Bio.
