It’s Fob Friday with @swangirlll ~

Autumn Kidd is a photographer and printmaker capturing the fragmented reality of a young, queer womanhood. Autumn’s work deconstructs nature and sex to see where sensuality and memory are intertwined into what’s around us. Hailing from the wastelands of Arizona and New Mexico where she discovered the necessity of creating pictorial memories to cope with the harsh landscapes that engulfed her. Kidd currently resides in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania where she has expanded her practice to include artist bookmaking where the use of sequencing and trial make up the very significance of her work as she explores the themes of sexuality, identity, memento, and reconfiguring what it means to exist within and against nature. Through the use of materiality Kidd weaves together alternative darkroom printing, photography, bookmaking, and sewing to bring this splintered feeling into a tangible reality.

Autumn graduated from Tyler School of Art with a BFA in printmaking in May 2026. Outside of the studio she spends her time with friends, bike riding, and traveling.
