Rolly is back and the undercover genius is exactly the problem nobody wants.I sat down with Justin Goossen-Brown to preview Saturday night and he did not sugarcoat what Teofimo Lopez is walking into at 147. Everybody counted Rolly out against Ryan Garcia too. He won the title as the underdog.

Rolly Romero @rolliesss vs Teofimo Lopez @teofimolopez
Saturday August 22 | Las Vegas
PBC Pay Per View on DAZN
8pm ET / 5pm PT
Main event ring walks around 10pm ET
Full card is loaded. Yoenli Hernandez vs Francisco Veron. Santillan vs Gary Antonio Russell for the interim WBA super bantamweight strap. Carlos Utria vs Israel Mercado.

Two champions. One title. Zero friends after the bell.

Justin Goossen Brown breaks down Rolly Romero @rolliesss vs Teofimo Lopez @teofimolopez Saturday August 22 at T Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.

Romero defends the @wbaboxingofficial WBA welterweight crown for the first time. Lopez is chasing history in a third division. They have shared a ring before as sparring partners. That ends at the opening bell.
When the money is on the line, friendship is a liability.
Who walks out with the belt?

Drop it below.

Boxing’s history isn’t only written by the fighters who stepped between the ropes. It’s also been shaped by the women who challenged barriers, changed perceptions, fought for equality, and created opportunities for generations to come.🔥

From trailblazing promoters and broadcasters to journalists, advocates, and pioneers who refused to accept “no” as an answer, these women helped transform boxing into a more inclusive sport.

Their influence can be seen every time a woman headlines a card, covers a championship fight, works in a corner, or dreams of a future in boxing.

They didn’t just open doors—they made sure those doors stayed open.👊

This post celebrates the women whose work outside the ring changed boxing forever and continues to inspire the next generation.

SEBASTIAN FUNDORA VS KEITH THURMAN LOS ANGELES PRESS CONFERENCE 📸

SEBASTIAN FUNDORA “Keith was one of the pound-for-pound best, but it’s time for a new champion and I believe I can be the face of this sport. I can’t wait for fight night and we’ll see you in the ring on October 25.

“I do believe I’m the best at 154 right now. I’m focused on continuing this reign and doing what I’ve been doing.

KEITH THURMAN “This is what the sport is all about. You put Thurman’s name next to anybody and I guarantee you it’s gonna be a fight you won’t wanna miss.

“I’m about to conquer Mount Everest himself. They call him ‘The Towering Inferno’, but I’ve been in the fire. This is what I live for right here. This is the top of the sport.

“Once I get the WBC title, people won’t have a reason to say no to a Keith Thurman fight. I’ve been waiting through the setbacks. With the truly great champions, you can’t stop them from becoming champion once again.

The final press conference for Davis vs. Roach had everything you want before a fight: tension, posturing, mutual respect wrapped in sharp words, and a room full of media catching every glance, every gesture. These moments are choreography before the chaos—where everything gets said, and nothing gets settled.

After the mic drop. Gervonta Davis walked up, said what needed to be said, and let the silence carry the rest. No theatrics—just that quiet confidence that comes when you know what you bring on fight night. Brooklyn felt it. The belt isn’t just up for grabs. It’s being defended with legacy.
