PART 2/3 • The retreat that changed more than my business.

I came to Bali thinking I was attending a business retreat.

I left with something completely different.

For three days, we gathered at the Mövenpick Resort in Jimbaran for VideoOS Breakthrough Retreat.

I expected to dive deeper into strategies, Marketing, Sales, Business growth…

Instead, we spent most of our time talking about ourselves, Our fears and traumas, Our limiting beliefs…

The stories we’ve been telling ourselves for years.

Some of the conversations were uncomfortable and some exercises were confronting.

But every single one of us in the group pushed me to think differently.

The most powerful moment came during the fire ceremony where each of us wrote a letter describing everything we no longer wanted to carry with us.

The fears, the excuses and the old identity.
For most of my life, I believed that if I didn’t succeed, I wouldn’t be safe, and that I had to constantly prove my worth to deserve love and recognition, a belief shaped by the pressure and violence I experienced growing up.

Then we threw those letters into the fire.

I’m not gonna lie, I know that everything won’t change overnight and I constantly have to be careful with my upper limit…

But that night, it was about making a conscious decision to stop letting those things define us.

I also left with something I’ve been searching for for a long time: Clarity.

Not just about my business, about the life I actually want to build.

And sometimes...

That’s worth far more than another marketing strategy.

Part 3 is where the adventure continued.

Bali Breakthrough Retreat 2026

Can’t believe it’s already been a week.

Seven days ago we were in Bali, three days deep into our third annual retreat. And honestly, unless you were in that room, these photos don’t do it justice.

For six years the mission hasn’t changed. Put our clients in rooms that actually shift something and help them break through the ceiling they’ve been stuck under.

We didn’t market this event. Not a single post. Not a single ad.

That’s deliberate. Our events are invite-only, because the room is the product. Get the mix wrong and it’s just a conference. Get it right and it changes what people believe is possible.

So here’s who was in it. Guys sitting at $30K to $50K a month, and a few already past seven figures. Different stages, same problem underneath. Every one of them the bottleneck in their own business.

Three days pulling that apart, then rebuilding a clear picture of where they’re actually going.

I’d like to think what I had to say landed. But the real value was the room, and everything that happened outside it.

This wasn’t three days buried in a conference room. Breath work and yoga as the sun came up.

Heads-down work through the middle of the day. Space to go build on their own.

Long dinners where the real conversations happened.
That’s the part you can’t manufacture.

Guys who’ve been grinding alone for years, finally sitting across from people who actually get it.

For what we’re building at Video Agency OS, this is just the start. Sixth event now, and nothing beats taking this thing off the screen and into a room.

After coaching 300+ video agency owners, it still gets me every time. The stories, the struggle, what it actually cost them to get here. Grateful they trust us with the next part of it.

Big shoutout to @zanderrrrr & @germen.barroga. You 2 carried this. Wouldn’t have been the same without you.

Perth in November is next. Same rule. Invite-only, same calibre of room, video agency owners serious about getting to seven figures.

And if you were in the room, you know we unveiled the mission.

100 clients to seven figures by 2030. We hit that, we’re celebrating it in Patagonia.

More to come on that soon 👀
