long overdue meet recap from April!! 6th meet in the books but this was my first meet in open at 67.5kg placing 1st 🥇! finished off the meet strong with 5/9, not happy with it as I was facing a lot of mental barriers half way through the meet as i missed my 1st and 3rd attempt for squats and missing my 1st bench attempt and redid it as my 2nd attempt and decided to not do a 3rd attempt to save my energy for deads. I was losing so much confidence in myself considering how poorly i was performing due to errors i made with my rack heights but deadlifts definitely showed up and showed out! Got 3/3 for deads with my 1st attempt at 147.5kg|325.2lb, 2nd attempt at 155kg|341.7lb (PR), and finishing off strong with another PR of 160kg|353lb!!! This meet prep made me recognize those who are definitely supporters with good sportsmanship and those who aren’t but that’s okay because this is a learning process for all of us and we all start somewhere 😉 here we are 6 years later constantly being reminded to stay in the pocket for a greater good. A big thank you to everyone who continued to be there for me throughout this prep from Justin for the great coaching and guidance, my friends for supporting and reminding me to have fun, and my boyfriend @darvin90kg for all the constant love and support🤍!! I couldn’t have asked for a better group of people around me! Shoutout to @bryan100kg for this amazing video, thanks for making me look so cool 😎 #powerlifting #usapl #sbd #squat #bench #deadlift #a7 #barbellbrigade #67kglifter #gym #fitnessmotivation
