Graduated @columbiajournalism in May! It would take more than this caption to describe this experience. I will say that I faced discomfort, learned so much, and met the most talented people. Do things that scare you everyday and never be afraid to dream BIG! ⭐️
In the words of my fave, Issa Rae, “I deserve this, bye” :)

Well I got into something I never knew would impact my life so much. Currently awake for around 31 hours while writing this, but you think I need sleep? Nah! If yall went to SSTI yall already know I was on my feet gettin down for literal hours on end, and that wouldnt have happened if I didnt enroll in this program.

I made new friends that I feel can last a lifetime, and learned things about this world and how we can change it together. And for those I didnt get to talk to much I hope I entertained you guys enough these last few days with movie nights and dancing! And some of yall thought I couldn't dance! Pshh!
10 days of work that seemed unending, with sleepless nights, and average meals, we all came out with A's! But the most important thing that we take from this program is the knowledge we learned from our professor, Dr. Mora! She was hands down the greatest professor I've ever had, and I look forward to seeing her and the rest of you guys in our club, IGFC! ZOT ZOT ZOT!🕺🕺🕺

A fantastic time spent Spring semester with the El Paisano Newsroom.

A pool of talented and eccentric people makes this niche one of a kind that I’m happy to be a part of.

Thanks for making me a better writer everyone. #ElPaiTilWeDie
