This year we piped down and held less events at Brixton Village Courtyard but we realise that many people were expecting a regular degular series so as a reprieve Brixton Village has granted us every Saturday in October wirh extended free to attend 5-10pm sessions!

This Saturday, we’ll be at the courtyard for the full 5 hours and if you fancy doing something after, we’ll be at Bird’s Nest Brixton from 10 til 1am with Leslie Love which is also free to attend although we recommend registering for that one via our bio link.✌🏿

@weoutherefest what an absolute honour and a privilege it was to perform for you again. Friday night in @nearmintclub was simply off the hook. I entered that booth feeling stressed, unprepared and worried about the very tired little boy I had with me. So I have to give a huge thank you to all the friends (you know who you are) and amazing staff who rallied round, helped make him up a bed and made me feel so welcome and loved as I played one of my favourite ever sets while he slept soundly backstage. What a night.

It was also a huge pleasure to play a little set at the @discoshed on Saturday. The kids’ area was particularly special this year and the sense of community in that space (as it was across the festival) was wonderful. A big thank you to Paddy and @countskylarkin for having me. It’s always so much fun playing for these guys! Isaac missed most of this set too because (happily) he was having a Graff lesson with the amazing @cronxdon - thank you so much mate! (If anyone has any videos of my set that day, please send them on!)

Then finally - Sunday. The greatest honour of all. To host the Main Stage on the final day and introduce a stellar line up of musicians.. @dalataofficial @joshuaidehen @zenaforeva @anafrangoeletrico @kahilelzabar @stereolabgroop and of course the legendary @bartzoyo - you were all simply magnificent, and it was so great to share my bird’s eye view with my son. He’s a natural. I can’t wait to do more of this with him….

So thank you with all my heart @noahballnoahballnoahball and @gillespeterson This is more than a festival. It’s a celebration of community and diversity and always makes me feel more hopeful for the future, no matter how dire things might seem in the world right now. Roll on next year. ❤️

Myself & Sweet P will be playing 5-7 & 8-9pm The Ralph Yard Party series waves goodbye to the summer with the best line up yet... and we’re not going quietly.
On Thursday 3rd September we’ll be taking over our corner of Shoreditch one last time for the final Yard Party of the series. And after three months of fun times, banging tunes and too many free slices of pizza to count, we’ve pulled together a seriously good one to send us off.
A very special Brit and MOBO-winning singer/songwriter will be taking to the decks for a special DJ set, joined by Eves’ Drop Collective, bringing their infectious, genre-spanning mix of soul, disco, house, hip-hop and everything in between.
Shoreditch’s iconic Jealous
Gallery will be curating the line up of live artist portraits - 60 secondportraits raising money for Art Against Knives - including Nettie Wakefield and Hackney Dave, while In Tune will be behind the bar with a selection of exclusive cocktails.
Homeslice will be serving up their legendary slices and Gipsy Hill will be keeping the beers #theralphyardparty #djamazon #sweetp
