Last month we celebrated my sister’s baby shower at Thomas Hooker Brewery in Bloomfield. We enjoyed some great food and drinks from the brewery including pizza, wings, and pretzel bites! I also was sure to order the most delicious and beautiful butter cream cookies from @fourcrumbsbakehouse.cleanbakes bakehouse.cleanbakes ! Everyone loved these cookies, and I was so impressed with the beautiful floral design. We also got a few dairy free and gluten free treats from @sweetsbyjenna_ so all of the guests could enjoy a sweet treat! Overall, it was a beautiful day celebrating the mama to be! 🍕🌸🍪

Happy International Day of the Nacho! 🧀🎉 Today is a pretty special day, and with my birthday coming up on October 24, I have a little birthday wish to share with all of you.

But first, some exciting news about my cookbook, Totally Nachrageous: Next-Level Nacho Recipes for Parties, Game Days & Crowd-Pleasing Fun!

As of yesterday, my cookbook was climbing Amazon's New Release rankings:

🏆 3 in Tailgating

🏆 10 in Mexican Cooking

🏆 23 in Appetizers

Seeing these rankings is incredibly exciting, especially knowing how much love, creativity, and hard work went into bringing this cookbook to life.

Now, about that birthday wish...

This year, my birthday wish is pretty simple. If you haven't picked up a copy of Totally Nachrageous yet, I'd love for you to buy yourself a gift for my birthday. That's right, my birthday wish is for YOU to treat yourself to a copy of my cookbook! 🎁 And this can start today on International Day of the Nacho 🙌 It's also a great birthday, Christmas and housewarming gift for a friend or family member. Nachos are the gift that keeps giving all year long.

✨️ Let's make Totally Nachrageous Number 1 for my birthday 🎂

And if you already own a copy, there's another way you can help me celebrate. Please consider leaving an honest review on Amazon. Reviews help other readers discover the book and can make a real difference in its visibility.

I'd also love to see your photos! Whether you're holding your copy of the cookbook or making one of the recipes, tag me starting today on Facebook and Instagram so I can share in the fun.

Seeing Totally Nachrageous in your kitchens, on your tables, and in your hands is truly one of the greatest birthday gifts I could ask for this year.

Thank you for supporting this incredible journey to national authorship. Every purchase, review, photo, and kind word means more to me than you know.

If you don't have the cookbook already, this is your perfect day to order or buy it. And share away.

And one more fun way I'm celebrating International Day of the Nacho! Today, I'll be appearing on Mass Appeal in Massachusetts today! See you soon!

🎉 Cheers to 5 SWEET years! 🧁🎂🙌

Today, my friend Jenna celebrated 5 years of Sweets by Jenna! And while the rain may have moved the festivities indoors, it didn't take away from the celebration. Friends, family, and supporters showed up to celebrate someone who has created something truly special.

Because Sweets by Jenna is so much more than a place to find delicious, creative, and FUN desserts.

Jenna has created a space that's bright, colorful, warm, welcoming, and filled with joy. From weekly delicious cupcakes and beautifully decorated cookies to incredible cakes and festive treats for every holiday, there's always something new to discover. Jenna has a way of making every season, celebration, and even an ordinary day feel a little more special.

And that's what I love most. It's not just about the sweets. It's about the feeling that comes with them.

There's something so rewarding about watching someone follow their dreams and turn their passion into a thriving business. Jenna has created some amazing cakes for my own birthdays and special milestones, and it's always a pleasure to support her and everything she's building.

The real magic is the feeling you get when you walk through the door. You can't help but leave with a smile.

If you haven't visited Sweets by Jenna, consider this your sign! And if you already know and love Jenna, keep showing up, supporting, and checking her Instagram for whatever fun creation she's making next.

Congratulations, Jenna! Cheers to 5 years, 5 more, and 5 more after that! 5️⃣🎂🙌

Keep dreaming big and making people smile! ✨

You see the finished event. We see everything it took to get there.

The tables set. The plates served. The room full of people.
But behind every David Alan event is a team thinking through every detail long before the first guest arrives.

From weddings and corporate events to large-scale galas, we create experiences built around exceptional food, thoughtful service, and a team that knows how to bring it all together.
Because great hospitality isn’t just about what ends up on the plate.

It’s about the entire experience we create around it.
This is David Alan Hospitality Group.

What you see vs. What I see!

Amazing cake smash photoshoots don't just happen by accident. They take planning, design, experience, creativity, quality, and so much more!

I loved putting together this recent recap of this little guy's lumberjack cake smash photos and video clips! We had such a fun time together, and it's fun to see the differences between how it looks on video vs. What I'm photographing!

We've had so many great first birthday celebrations this year, but our calendar is almost full for 2026! Be sure to reach out soon especially if you have any October, late November, or December (or January) birthday so we can get you scheduled!
